Prospect Range Projects is a gallery and event space dedicated to the creative talents of artists and their families living and working in central Brooklyn.
Since 2009, the Range has served this community through performance, exhibitions, and arts education. We seek to support new and emerging talent through growth opportunities in the visual arts, relying on our years as arts educators to provide career pathways in the creative arts.
Prospect Range Projects is pleased to present oil paintings by Pete Sinjin. Observing his subjects directly, painting on-site in often harsh conditions, Pete emphasizes the act of looking at the world, to light and the time of day, to passing seasons and to the simplicity of looking carefully without distraction. Today, this is a radical approach and this body of work has a fresh and rewarding presence.
